THE FACTS
-
Wireless 2000 has developed the world’s
first wireless and contact-less (no electrodes) vital signs and bed
occupancy monitor.
-
Guaranteed to save lives and capital
costs in Eldercare facilities and Hospitals.
-
The number of people over 65 in the
U.S. alone will increase by 50.4 million in the next 40 years.
-
Wireless 2000 has over 30 distributors
and end users in Canada, the U.S., Europe, China and S.E. Asia
waiting for the first units to become available in August 2007.
-
Boomers are demanding the highest level
of healthcare ever, which is difficult to achieve with the current
shortage of nurses.
-
The Wireless 2000 Patient Assessment
Monitor or PAM™ will provide cost effective monitoring for hospital
and eldercare beds. It is cost effective as it integrates into the
current infrastructure. An alert will be sent to the nurse
immediately if patient’s vital signs are out of range or if patient
fell out of bed or a wheelchair, bringing timely help to the
distressed patient.
-
The Wireless 2000 Patient and Asset
Tracking System or PAT™ allows the real time location and tracking
of "at risk" patients and will effectively prevent them from leaving
the premises.
-
The assets of the hospital can also be
tracked to eliminate the need to purchase redundant equipment and
will save capital costs. The critical equipment can be instantly
located to make it available to medical personnel at the time of
crisis.
