Leased land is with private individuals. Most land on a cash share basis ranging from $18.00 to $20.00 per cultivated acre. The remainder is on a crop share with 25% going to the landlord. Hay leases are done on a 60/40 crop share basis.

Approximately 4,000 acres are cropped, the remainder are hay and pasture. The Assiniboine River runs through the pasture.

Total taxes for all buildings and property was $6,172.61 for 1998.
